Yes, Maynard James Keenan not only brings his talent to Tool, A Perfect Circle, Pusicfer, acting, and stand-up comedy (WTF?), he also likes to produce wine.. Correct, he is a weird fellow indeed..
Behold, Caduceus Wine
He is the current owner of Merkin Vineyards and the associated winery, Caduceus Cellars, and has part ownership of Stronghold Vineyards, all located in Arizona, where he lives. As if the name of his wine is not disturbing enough in itself, the website will surely send a chill down your spine. The site surprisingly advertises that Stronghold Vineyards has 25 year old Cabernet vines. Being slightly more knowledgeable than the average fellow in the subject of wine, I can tell you that 25 years old is a very young vine. Because of this information, I would be willing to bet that if they are bragging about these vines his wine probably tastes like @ss. However, I say kudos to Maynard for using his fame and fortune to follow his dreams, even though his dreams often result in nightmares inflicted in others..(the monkey on a crucifix ruined my childhood..not really..).. Has anyone tried his wine and lived to tell that tale?

The monkey on the crucifix ruined my childhood, too. Maybe that's where I went wrong!
