Our Official Endorsement: Phil Davison for President

Rock you like a hurricane ...

Since you're on the Internet right now, I think it's a safe bet to assume that you are not currently living under a rock. And, since you're not currently living under a rock, that means that you're probably aware of the fact that the Republican party is currently in full primary swing right now. You may or may not care, but you probably at least know about it.

But, what you might not know is that the best man for the job, the bellowing beast of politics, the person who would rock this election like a big, screaming hurricane, isn't actually on the ticket. I don't care if you vote Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, Whig or nothing at all ... we can all unite on one key point ...

And that point is that Phil Davison of Minerva, Ohio, is awesome ... straight up. Just listen to his impassioned speech as he makes a commanding bid for Stark County Treasurer:

If you close your eyes and just listen, you can almost imagine that it's Joe Swanson giving the speech.

Seriously, who wouldn't want a guy like this in office? Davison is one ballsy dude, but even in the midst of his blazing rhetoric, he isn't too proud to admit his mistakes. If you ask me, this is the kind of leader we need right now: Educated, forceful, and just a wee bit bat-sh!t crazy. He is NOT going to apologize for his tone tonight, and we don't think he should. You go, Phil Davison. You go!

But, if you're not convinced on the merits of his speech alone, you should also know that ol' Phil actually has a sense of humor. When he came down from the incredible high that is public speaking in Ohio, he gave a series of witty and intelligent interviews, culminating in his unmatched appearance on Tosh.0.

Looks like that Master's Degree in Communication really paid off.

See? This guy is the man! So, why can't he be our man? Vote Phil Davison ... and make the bold leap into insanity that you know you've been meaning to take.

I plan to use his same public speaking technique in the future...

I speak like this to my coworkers on a daily basis. I find that it motivates them ... probably because they think I'm going to snap and start beating them with a 3-hole punch.

I don't know him, but I could learn to "love" him!
