Michelle Williams at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards
The only compliment I can offer this look is the dress color is nice. Otherwise, it reminds me of the heinous crushed velvet dress I had when I was six. Speaking of a six-year-old, I think this dress and headband would look great on a six-year-old. Hey, even the mismatched red nail polish would be something only a six-year-old could pull off. And check out the elastic on that headband - cute for a run, and cute on a six-year-old.
On the other hand, maybe she was just channeling some Hillary Clinton, minus the horse face.
You know what? Maybe she just showed up to the wrong place at the wrong time. Her dress would look pretty chic at a Renaissance day fair, don't you think?
In the end, I find it surprising that anyone would actually expect more from this girl. Yes, I love her and think she is adorable, but honestly, did anyone see what she wore to the Golden Globes last year?
Michelle Williams needs to stay the hell away from my grandma's house.

LOL for the Clinton dress! Michelle is cute and could do SO much better. She obviously didn't pick up any fashion pointers on the set of her Marilyn Monroe movie.
I really like the cute casual dresses she wears to less formal events. I just think she has problems translating that look to events like the Golden Globes...
I am so tired of her Peter Pan hair and frowsy dresses and the way she is praised for both. When you have sooooo many choices, these are the picks of the litter?
Agreed! Her haircut would be cuter if she would use some product to style it. I liked her long hair, though. She started the side bun thing. :)
I don't even remember her with long hair.. maybe that's why she keeps it short?
Remember Michelle's yellow dress from a few years ago/? That one was hot!
