Christina Aguilera, please fire your stylist.

Christina Aguilera appeared on the American Music Awards over the weekend looking like this abomination:

"I've got a secret for you!"
The dress, the hair, the make-up, seriously?

I believe Christina is a beautiful girl, overweight or not. But as a constant victim of fashion, Christina has always struggled to look appropriate for events and performances. The American Music Awards was not an exception to this rule. Topping off the attire, it appeared someone had taken a blow torch to her hair (I can smell the charred remains). As our view painfully descends, the dress she is donning gives her the "walrus" or "sausage" effect. This effect is often seen on curvier girls who lack the knowledge about dressing in a figure-flattering way.

Christina, you need a dress with structure and support! Not a dress that acts as a "second skin." You are not Katy Perry (which is not always a bad thing). I know you understand what I am talking about!

See Exhibit A:

Christina on Project Runway, October 15th, 2009. I'm not sure if Heidi Klum put her foot down or if Christina "accidently" made a great choice. What I do know, is that this dress looks great on her. The color is beautiful and her hair and make-up look lovely. Dare I say she looks chic?

This blue dress draws attention to the smallest part of her waist, creating a nice slimming effect. Her hair also looks very sleek and shiny. However, do her bangs look crooked to you? If so, I think we should let that small imperfection slide.

In conclusion, stop making yourself look horrible Christina! If you have been looking in the mirror, liking what you see, and going with it, it's time to seek and trust the advice of your stylist. On the other hand, if you hate what you see in the mirror, but trust in your stylist, please fire your stylist (See Jennifer Carpenter for her stylist's contact information).

Yikes! She does dress terribly! On a totally different note, I hate how she has to PROVE she can really sing all of the time.
